This last Thanksgiving was one for the books! Today on the blog, I wanted to share outfit details as well as some star recipes that Spencer and I made. We’ve never really cooked anything for Thanksgiving before this year, but we loved everything we made, so that’s a good sign, right?
For an appetizer, we made this absolutely glorious spinach dip with artichoke hearts, bacon, and CRAB. Yes. The recipe comes from none other than Danni, aka Stovetop Kisses – buy her cookbook, ya’ll! You won’t regret it. We paired it with mini pieces of toasted bread. We also made her famous Mac & Cheese recipe, and that alone was probably one of the best things I’ve ever had. EVER.
We also made the ham this year, which is hands down my favorite in the great turkey vs ham debate. Question: where do you fall on this heated topic? Ham or turkey?
Moving along to outfit details – I felt very country meets bohemian chic at Thanksgiving this year. The Free People top I decided to wear is definitely one of my favorite pieces of clothing in my wardrobe, because it’s just so unique and very me.
How has your holiday season been going this year? I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! Here’s to many more holiday memories to come.
